He feels a sudden surge of energy as he joins the crowd, moving his limbs in sync with the pulsating beats. He doesn't recognize anyone, but he feels a connection with them, as if they were all part of a collective consciousness. He looks at the sky and sees a kaleidoscope of colors, shapes and patterns.
He picks up a disc from a nearby table, where a DJ is mixing tracks with a pair of headphones. It might be the soundtrack of his life, or maybe a portal to another dimension. Favorite track: Paseo.

Caminando por un sendero soleado, el horizonte se distorsiona debido al calor que el suelo irradia, o quizás sea por las dos píldoras fluorescentes que encontró en el doble fondo de la mesilla esta mañana cuando despertó y que engulló junto al café antes de salir de casa.
El camino se torna infinito mientras sus pies, como si tuvieran vida propia, siguen la ruta que han recorrido incontables ocasiones. Un tenue sonido repetitivo e hipnótico le sirve de guía. Sus pasos le conducen hasta el parque, aquí la música y el bullicio colorean la atmósfera del atardecer.
Sin apenas darse cuenta, está rodeado de altavoces y gente bailando al ritmo de un bombo incesante, su estado natural.

Walking along a sunny path, the horizon is distorted by the heat radiating from the ground, or maybe it's because of the two fluorescent pills he found in the double bottom of the bedside table this morning when he woke up and swallowed with his coffee before leaving the house.
The path becomes infinite as his feet, as if they had a life of their own, follow the route they have traveled countless times. A faint repetitive and hypnotic sound serves as a guide. His steps lead him to the park, where music and bustle decorate the evening atmosphere.
Before he knows it, he is surrounded by loudspeakers and people dancing to the rhythm of an incessant bass drum, his natural state.
